Curling past fields and farms, creeks and clouds, waterfowl and other wonders, the Cranberry Highway reveals some of the best fall color you'll see this season: the red sea of cranberries coupled with the blazing yellows and oranges of fall leaves. This self-guided drive stretches for almost 50 miles along century-old cranberry beds from Wisconsin Rapids to Warrens, and between Pittsville and Nekoosa.

Tour one of the oldest cranberry marshes in central Wisconsin with an actual grower. History, videos, cranberry gifts, and tours are offered Mon-Fri at 9, 11, 1 and 3 p.m. during harvest (including Saturdays through October 21) and other times by appointment. Call ahead to verify harvest and tour times. Celebrate one of North America's native fruits at Glacial Lake Cranberries this year!

Tour several different area marshes, pick fresh fruit from the vine, and observe testing, cleaning and freezing of the fruit harvest with students from the nation's only Cranberry Science Class. A box lunch with special cranberry treats is included with the tour. Reservations are a must. Tours offered 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Oct. 3 (harvest permitting), 8, 10, 15, 17 and 22.

Learn how cranberries are grown and harvested by touring our exhibit hall featuring interactive displays. Afterward treat yourself to a slice of cranberry pie or a scoop of cranberry ice cream. Our gift shop features primarily Wisconsin-made cranberry products. Open daily from June 1-Oct 31, 9 a.m. -5 p.m. Seasonal hours the rest of year.
